The Life of a ninja was not just shadows, swords, and stealth. Although mainstream media makes the ninja warrior look like a vicious murder. To be consider a true ninja in Japan meant a whole lifestyle. It has been said a ninja in training would run 50 miles a day, climb obstacles for hour, and exercise extensively. However more than physical, a real ninja practiced mental discipline. Regular deep meditations were the source of a ninjas powers. A ninja would meditate daily on power of mind and body, energy, balance, health, safety, empathy, consistency, environment, and enlightenment. Many folklore refer to ninjas and demons of the night with dark magical power. It is true that these masked figures could preform amazing things, but in reality these warriors were just passionate devoted human beings. A great example of what can be achieved through commitment and determination.
